The ozarks are littered with old homestead sites. This is one such site.
If you look closely, you can see a rope hanging from the tree.
A swollen creek next to the road. We got several inches of rain which was great, but it created problems for me as most of the low water bridges were impassable.
There are thousands of waterfalls like this in the Ozarks. 99% of them are dry for the majority of the year. They only flow right after a strong rain like we had this weekend. If you want to see them, you have a 2 day window after a good rain.

I don't know what kind of flower this is, but it is really pretty. This was a very difficult shot to get, as it was raining and rain drops kept hitting the flower making it move.
After a big rain, all the waterfalls in the woods come alive.
